Our Story

Here we are. The farmers. The two people who found a love in farming they never knew they had.

In 2016 we bought a home that just happened to have a barn and a few pastures. So we bought two cows and a pig that all lived together. We opened our red gate and welcomed them in! That day in May we started to learn from them. We started a wonderful journey of learning how land, animals and all living things create harmony.

We knew we wanted to start to produce our own food that was very good. High quality, delicious and healthy.

We started three years ago, with no farming background. We knew we had a strong “why.” To improve health through nutrient dense food, produced naturally.

The beautiful thing is that we had no preconceived notions on how to do things. We had a wide open mind ready to learn from nature.

And we are still learning! We have so many funny stories, because as new beginner farmers we make mistakes. There are a few sad stories along the way too. But this is what gives us the knowledge and the experience needed to work our farm.

The last few years have been very rich in so many ways. We look forward to many more and decided to share with others. We found there are so many others that also care about where their food comes from.

Small farms can produce a lot of food. And more people should have access to this high quality food. We decided to provide this, name our farm, and open up a small business.

So come out and visit us. Come see how we make compost, move animals on the land, and grow great food. Ask lots of questions, ask about how the first little pigs escaped and ran to the woods within minutes upon arrival to our farm! Or about the mysterious hoof prints right up by the house. We make good coffee and have chairs out by the pasture...just for you.
